Hey Guys,
WE had our annual summer sizzler race yesterday with many people shopwing up from around the midwest area and even the east coast. I had the TQ position for the first 2 rounds in stock, only to lose it to Brad Johnson in the 3rd round by 7 tenths, but we both bettered the previous time. In 1/12 stock I had some issues all day that ended up mesing up my times. In a TQ run the transponder went dead, Scotty looked at where it didnt count and manually fixed my time for a 2nd place overall qualifier. In the 1/12 main I had a great holeshot and took 1st for the first few laps of the race only to have my body hang up from a lapped traffic car. I rallied back to finish 2nd after dropping to last on the lead lap. In the sedan main, Brad and I both got good holeshots to take a good lead on the rest of the pack. I had a very good race for 2nd as Jeff Cuffs was charging hard from a bad accident in the first lap. We battled for a few laps before he made a very good move around the carousel to take 2nd. I finished the main in 3rd. The gap fot 1st through 3rd in the main was only 3 seconds. It was a very good day of racing at Trackside with a lot of fast guys coming up to make the show. Thank you EA for the f-brushes early last year, they had a ton of power!

Great job at the Sizzler yesterday Stephen. Very hot racing. Your car motored. Thanks for the help with our foam cars. The jump from the rubber class to the foam class is big, but we are excited to race in it and are learning alot each time we race. We will look forward to racing with you in the Wisconsin Touring Car Series.

EA, had an awesome time racing with you this weekend- you were very fast! I'm disappointed that I had a top-fuel blowover on the first lap cause I really wanted to have some close racing with you in the mod main. I think we were pretty close in lap times... oh well. The whole weekend was awesome and you did a killer job helping all the racers.
Definately a class act and great racer. You better be ready for Alabama cause I'll be able to concentrate on racing!!

Eric, I too made the A in both the classes I entered at the Summer Sizzler. F-brushes rock!!! My stock and 19t motors were ballistic (as ballistic as a stock can be, anyway) all day. I had a couple runs that I nearly TQ'd 19t as well, but I had traffic and DOH problems. I finished 3rd in 19t and a DNF in stock after very brutal starts in both classes. Chasing Brad Johnson down at the end of the 19t main was intense, thanks for the great race, Brad!!!

Just wanted to say congrads and thanks to the drivers that went to the Sizzler this weekend.
Big thanks to Eli Ezrow for the 19 turn class with the TQ and win. Thanks and congrads to Mo Denton, Stephen Sobottka, Brian McGreevy, and anyone else that I have forgotten of havent heard results from.
Also congrads to a new EAM customer Bill Sydor for making the A main as well. He bought 6 packs of the new IB3800's off of my website last week and I seen where he made the A as well.
Thanks
