Told you the wake and bake 1.19's are fast.

I didn't have a whole lot of time to race this weekend, so I managed to slap my car together and head to a local track for a tropy race. TQ'ed by 2 laps, finished first in the A. Car didn't handle too well, but it was real fast. I was one a record pace which would have broken my old record by 2 laps, but i got snagged in some traffic and that was the end of that. Only thing I changed since last time I raced the track was a move to the wake and bake Surge "special" 1.19 cell.

Did some more testing with IB3600's but they felt very flat in practice... Guess I'm going to have to keep playing with them.

Gary - The pack i won with in 19turn was the very first pack i got from you, about 9 months old.

That just goes to show you all that this stuff is good long term. Can't wait for the new wake and bake stuff.

I would like to thank Mike Collins at Surge for telling bean to take me out and Matt for actually taking me out in the main while I was leading the GA State Race.

I started 3rd and Matt Bean started 2nd. Apparently matt and the leader fell asleep on the line so I went from first to 3rd before we reached the infield. I'm leading the race for a few laps when out of NOWHERE this flying car jumps across the track and lands RIGHT ON TOP OF MY CAR which flips me then puts me in the wall while I was leading the race.

You ask, who could this flying car have been? Well it was no other than matt of team surge.

I have to admit I was a little upset at the time, but looking back I'll give him an 8.9 for the arobatics and precision in the air. If I'm not mistaken he was using his wheels in mid air to steer the car towards me. I was just waiting for the "YEEHAWWWW" and a cut to the commercial like the Dukes of Hazzard or something

So thanks Mr. Collins

On a side not, Matt and I both ran the Blue Atlas 19 motors and were very quick, but we never got our car to handle that great. We were both fast enough to take the win just some bad luck.

See you at the nats...

It's PayBack time

Michael

Michael, I told you that when I was doing my flips in the air I had wheel turned away from you. I think that the third dot that I hit while being punted several times to say the least!!LOL was what did you in. Atleast you didn't go from first to last on the punt shot I took in the second turn while being in second. LOL I was a lap down from the horn and in last. Thanks to my Surge Batteries and Atlas motor I survived multiple punts & came from the rear several times to finish third. See you this weekend at RC Motorsports!!!

Hey matt you knew it was coming though...

At least you didn't get hammered in both classes and then have car problems on the way home in a REAL car and have your daddy come pick you up

I just want to forget the GA ever existed right now

Frank Ulbrik

Yes very good one at the Michigan State race

that was the fastest car in the main i have seen in a while and i didn't see much of it when it went by.

I did like the batts from Surge also they helped me make the A main where i went on to finish 3rd in the same main as Frank.

see ya at the Roar Nats

later

Default GA state race 19 Touring Pic

Mike,

Thought you might want to see a pic of me and matt bean at the race.
I know you haven't seen me for a while, but I'm the guy on the left.

Kumpol fixed me right up since I wasn't present for the pic
