That's what I wanted to hear. I have some F brushes coming tomorrow, was hoping to test it out at DC Ultra this weekend but looks like it might be snowing... Maybe Mimi's next weekend.

That's what I'm hearing,Glad to see a new brush on the market that put's out raw power and is easy on the comm.

As far as testing I just love to play [/B][/QUOTE]

My thoughts about the Surge Motors are correct. They are ripping consistently more then the EA motors that I also have. Now all motors are brand new, and the Surge Motors rev 2,000rpm higher then EA consistently, with more AMP too!!

I've tried the EA F-Brush in an EA Stocky and it increased RPM up by over 2,000RPM which is pretty good with just a brush change. For you out there wondering abour spring combos, go with red on the +ve and green on -ve. That seems to be the go with the F Brushes. I'm gonna play around with a set of them in putting a slot through the middle, supposed to increase RPM which is what I want!!!

Simon, glad to hear the motors are running well for ya.

We're supposed to be getting the 'F' brushes in the next day or so. We'll let everyone know the results we get from using them.

I'll be curious to see if they're as good as everyone is saying they are.

Jon, Arrived safely in Toronto last last night and stoped by the track, they still have to build the pit tables and change the layout...sorta last minute if you ask me, but its a decent size track so thats cool.

I will keep you updated each night hopefully. Practice begines today.

Larry,

Things will continue to move forward, and we will be expanding. Please check the Surge forums later today, or e-mail me at [email protected] if you want to chat.

I am looking for a new team manager - If anyone wants to step up the the plate and take over the position, please let me know.

Thanks...

Colin you should be the first to import the new Surge Intellect cells - The wonderful GB racers will love their performance and even more importantly, their price.

Hi everybody,

I wanted to drop in and introduce myself - My name is John, I am the newest addition to the staff at Surge. To give you a little background info about myself -- I seemed to follow that path that many of you have taken during your long R/C history. I was involved in remote control for many years before dropping the hobby when I was in my mid teens. Now at a much older age, I've rejoined the hobby. I must say, things haven't changed a whole lot. I have a degree in electronics, and work on a daily basis doing design and repair. I'm delighted by the chance to get to be involved in such a cool company and industry. I many technology ideas as to how I can improve the Surge family of products.

Gary and I have been working diligently today to get the new workshop up and running. The new space is temperature controlled and by the middle of this week will have double the matching capacity. We worked on some nice surprises today; we think you're going to enjoy them.

Hope I'll see you at all the track. I will be attending the Snowbirds with Gary, so I hope to meet some of you. If any of you guys have any questions for me, feel free to shoot an e-mail or give us a call.

Oh, for the first time I'd like to say........

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE (ha ha)
