Had a good run yesterday at Stockton Raceway on Carpet. Qual 4th, finished 4th. Got taken out by a guy that shouldnt be running mod and was a half lap down on the start. Ripped off 6 identical lap times in a row trying to catch up and then found the same back marker again. Guys were commenting how much motor I had and I had plenty of run time to spare. Got my laptimes down to within a couple tenths of what the Shumacher and Tamiya factory guys are running. I should be able to find a tenth or two when I get off the Plaids and purples I was running and join the 21st century with some Cyan's and Magenta.
Also, got to meet fellow team mate Marshall Keener for the first time. Nice guy and his X-ray looked pretty dialed in Stock and 19 turn. We have the Northwest Carpet champs here in a few weeks and we should have a good showing.

Guys from what I understand for CRCRC is that when the track is dry you want new tapers because it can have a layer of dust or loose stuff. when the track is wet you want burned in tires almost completely worn. Fronts should be dremmelled no matter what.
I think I might have a place to get some tires.....I'll make a call later and let you know.

Tagteam is gonna get the dunce cap in the corner of the warehouse. We'll get him a stool and leave him there for the night.

There's two hobby shops in Vineland I want to try. I know one brought in a ton of pink taper pins when they first came out and they dont work on that track.....its been a while but last time I was there they had about 10 pair in a discount tire box. Theres another store that while I might not like the owner, happens to be the best hobby store I personally have ever been in. It's pretty big and has more inventory than Ive ever seen. I'll call around later.
