MarchTC3.....What I have found is that you should tray them before you charge them on an Integy or Trinity Real Time 2 tray. This gives the best results IMHO. Dead shorting on the new cells I have yet to see how this effects them....maybe more time with them will tell us. So for now I would not recomend dead shorting the newer cells until we find more information. When you are done running the pack discharge them down to 5.4 volts for 6 cells....then leave them until the next time you use them. You can run the same pack two times a day but let it cool down on its own between charges....so do not use a fan to keep them cool. For charging the main thing you want to look for is how hot the pack is getting....it should peak out at about 125*F to 145*F then the pack is fully charged....any hotter and you might ruin the cells. Any more questions feel free to ask......

happy bday
happy birthday, Brad!
now that you're getting older....maybe you should slow it down. No need to be so daim fast...........
btw, I've had my Super Satchel for a while now and it's holding up nicely. I set the stock rubber TQ last saturday at RSJ Raceways with some Super Satchel cells. Like Kevin said, the newer shorter cells do perform well, despite what the numbers say. They compare nicely to my older higher number cells.
It's a bit baffling, because you expect the cells to be soft, but they had plenty of rip.
