The Ionic charger MAY be able to charge the Gp 3300s but I would not risk it unless you have absolutely no choice.

Bear in mind that when the Ionic was released, GP3300mAH NiMh batteries were not available. The NiMH mode on the charger is most likely tuned to the older Sanyo/Panasonic 3000NiMH batteries which had different characteristics.

It does not however offer adjustable peak settings which may mean that the battery may be overcharged or undercharged.

It also lacks a 5 or 6A charge rate which is necessary to get the best performance out of the GP batteries.

I also suspect you don't have a separate discharger which is what the Ionic lacks.

You will need to discharge your batteries down to 5.4V after use to keep them in good shape.

If you are in the market for a good all in one charger with discharge functionality, take a look at an Eagle CDC 6.0B unit. Tt does just about everything and is available at a very good price.

Cool Opportunities knocking!

Just thought I'd tried here.

We're planning to further upgrade out CET system. This will be basically our 4th generation upgrade so I was wondering if any of you might have some sources to some electronic components such as Government Surplus items like SCRs and other such stuff. It's kinda technical so if you or knows anybody in the industry, please PM me and we'll discuss this.

What we're trying to achieve is to have a reliable yet simplified system that will do just as good of a job to further define "State of the Arts'. Its a little hard to explain or give out details as this system is like no others in the market and has already proven itself. Please let me know. I'd love to share those names who've helped in this process to be part of the engineering sourcing team that we can claim to be one of the best. LOL.. this newer generation system will be at our new facility (3rd location) . I already have the schematics and a portion of the new system done. You will also be assigned to test out the new CET4 processed cells so you know you've contributed

any takers? oh, please identify yourself with your real name and a phone number with PMing me since this is pretty much a classified deal.

Dan

Dan - Good luck with building #3 and CET #4 Josh is a good addition to the team. I was impressed after seeing him at SOCAL. Great driver and classy guy.
