You might take a rag with some motor spray on it and clean off the solder joint. Looks like you have some excess flux, which will run as the cell heats up and leave a mess, not to mention its really sticky.

The joints look good and looks like you used enough, but not too much solder.

I picked up a solder sucker at Radio Shack to clean off the excess solder from the joints, it's easier to get a good connection if you use quite a bit of solder on the joint, then I just suck off the excess with the solder sucker.

Daniel,

Get this-I just cycled all my 4-cell packs (havent run in 2 months). One of my oldest 4-cell packs is a rainbow shrink Fuku pack. Its labeled 1.170 402 seconds. This is how it cycled out on the t35gfx. Also-it had been deadshorted early on in its history.

4.72 (1.18) and 366 seconds. Can you believe it went up that high in voltage? Crazy. I cannot wait to get back to some 12th scale action this Sunday!!

After it's been cycled a few times I bet that run time will go up a bit.

I sent him an Email and he hasen't responded. He can be hard to get on the phone too. I'll try calling him tomorrow. I'm thinking we could stay in the Howard Johnsons I stayed in in November for the 2 day Titus race. I'll have to find the address and get a room rate. I'll let you know tomorrow.

I read the tech info on the Fuk site, but I cant figure out, if it's recommended to discharge packs between heats or not.

Thanks.
