Dan - I'm assuming you still have your generator ready for the T4T race?

That's the same process that I do. Let them cool for an hour and a half before recharging though to let the cell internals rest

Default New Label?

Here's a pic of what the new labels will look like for 2004 and onward. What do you think?

Oh, thanks for Tres.

Hi Dan,

I'm assuming that the your talking about the label design and not the numbers and it looks great.

My assumption is that you are not going to change the voltage reading to only 2 digits after the decimal as shown and will continue to list that as an example 1.171

what about sticker quality?

if you use laminated stickers, it will save shrink wrapping and better for heat dissipation or UV coated sticker for better looking labels.

the current printing paper stickers are cheap looking and the die cut is out of shape making it a must to shrink wrap, need to source for new label supplier....

Default Forgot to mentioned

This label is just a sample of what it may look like. We will continue to go with and full 3 digits after the decimal and yes, it will be laminated so no shrink wrap is needed. It was meant to happen sooner or later but the cost really keeps getting in the way at the prices we're selling them for and now GP might increase the prices of the cells next year. Nothing firm on that yet but we're waiting to see what to make of it.

Dan to be honest, the label breaks a lot of design rules. As a designer, you should limit yourself to 2 fonts...3 at most. Also, you should tell the artist to lay off using too many drop shadows...especially ones that go the wrong way. I know, you like yellow, but you already have some sort of border that frames in the numbers. Perhaps you can try a different color or white. Also, look into getting round corner stickers. They look more pimp.

Just my 0.0000002 yen.

Sorry you had to hear that Just helping a brother out.

Thanks for the suggestion Rod, I'll work on that. btw, shouldn't you already be in Japan practicing? I know Shin is already there preparing as of yesterday.

Agree with Rod on the drop shadows. Maybe keep the shadow for the Fukuyama Racing text but get rid of the shadow around the center box. Or vice versa, I suppose.

Rod your avatar is great!
