Question: Don't have much feedback on Orion mod motors on the offroad thread. How are their mod motors? Some say they run a turn slower, but very smooth. Any comments regarding timing as well? Just picked up an 8.5T VST2 for my 2wd buggy for high grip clay off road. thanks all.

Hi I'm trying to shut off my thermal protection and when I go threw the functions and try I cannot get it to shut off , I go to setting ten and it just will not go to the second option and blink red twice , it just constantly blinks once ??

This thread seems to be dead. In any case has anyone been able to update the software on the advantage touch duo 2x100watt model? Windows software only and it isn't working. Can't even get it too open it just errors out.

Can anyone tell me if the Team Orion Vortex R10.1 ESC motor/battery wires can be changed after being cut short (similar to the tekin esc etc.)

Anyone know where or how to get a speed control repair not under warranty? Horizon is completely useless and condescending and I hope I meet one of their reps at a race sometime so I can have a face to face discussion with them. #jerks

My brand new controller HMX10 does not throttle.

8V from the battery, but 0V between the 3 wires that link HMX10 to the Orion Ultimate, whatever the transmitter position.
No problem for reading ESC. The calibration of the transmitter is OK.
The receptor is SR315. Steering works. Even if I swift ST and TH.

Is the ESC calibration done? It sounds like both the steer and throttle channels work at the receiver but the lack of actual throttle is usually because the esc calibration either isn't done or went wrong in the transmitter. If this is totally new then the esc calibration must be completed. Break open the instruction book, I don't know Orion escs, follow the process and hopefully everything will work.
