Lastly I'd like to know if anybody is running a murfdogg motor with a mamba max pro esc. I already have one so its most likely what I'll use unless somebody says "no stop, that is terrible." Thanks for the help

Yes you can run the 13.5 on 2s, Murfdogg does make some motors for 1/12 scale that at tuned to run on 1s power too.

The cap has seemed to be a fix, also letting the speed control arm before doing anything with the steering or throttle. (Not sure if MM pro works like Tekin on this)

I specified a 1s version because we built motors that work significantly better in 1s on-road racing.

Likewise, in the past few months, with extensive testing, we have refined our setup and our now having great response with our "13.5 1s" motor in offroad and Oval racing.

I have made a running change to how I build each motor since we have accumulated more test data.

Each motor can be used in 1s or 2s applications. The only difference is the rotors and air gaps.

Hey Matt, in your testing on the 550 motors are you recommending the Tekin RX8 or can a RS-pro run them?

Well, being a very small business... we have to select our investments wisely.

We planned on having shirst in early 2011, but instead of dropping coin on t-shirts, we decided to expand our battery line, and our bearing line, as well as develop a few new products.

Coming soon:
- Saddle Pack Lipos
- Rubber Sealed Bearing Sets for AE Offroad Vehicles
- TLR 22 Silicon Nitride Diff and Thrust Ball Sets
- LiFe Receiver packs
- LiFe/LiPo/NiMh/NiCad Battery Chargers
- New Drag Racing Brushless Motors

We plan on doing shirts ASAP, but these other products became a priority.

For the time being, our new hats and decals can help you represent the MurfDogg Brand!

Matt

Good times Matt

That MurfDogg Synergy 13.5 motor makes it easy to go fast in a class where a tenth is a lot.

Default New from MurfDogg

Introducing the first complete Dirt Oval Racing Chassis, soon to be released from MurfDogg Racing:

The Nitro "DEVIATOR"
Deviator - (noun) - To stray from normal purpose.

The Nitro Deviator is the first complete purpose built Dirt Oval truck kit. No longer must you purchase "Aftermarket" shock towers built with undesirable suspension geometry to have yourself a "Dirt Oval Truck." This racing chassis is designed to have all of the tuning options of purpose built Late Models and Sprint Cars. This is NOT your typical offroad truck that will be driven around an oval. Purpose built from the ground up, every feature of this truck has a purpose. Designed with just the right amount of adjustments to get you dialed in, but not allow you to overtune yourself right out of the ballpark. The Nitro Deviator will be available in two forms; Nitro EDM/CDM and Nitro Truck configurations.

Look for the Nitro Deviator to be released early Summer 2011.
