I just picked up a 13.5 to try in my stock truck. I need to get a 78 spur and I will let you guys know how it runs compared to my Novak 13.5.

Matt was great to deal with on the phone and the shipping was super fast. I didn't get a sensor wire with my motor so I will have to pick one of those up too.
I will run it this Sunday.

The truck ran great. The motor came with a sugested gearing of 28/78. Believe it or not none of the LHS has a 78 spur in stock. I ran 29/81 the motor was 119* after each run and the truck was fast.

Here are my results (Doug Lightcap)

With the MurfDog motor, BFast Diff and MaxAmps 35c 4200 batteries this truck is SWEET!

I hate to say it, but I am looking forward to indoor season. I am ready to rip some 1/10th scale with my new motor.

Revo-
Please do me a favor... check inside the motor tube the motor came in... there should be a sensor wire on the bottom. All MurfDogg Motors come with a sensor, and I like to believe I didnt mess up my perfect record...

Let me know.

Default MurfDogg Company Update

MurfDogg Motor Works has been quiet here on RCTECH as of late, and here is my explanation.

1.) I have moved...everyone knows how difficult and time consuming moving can be.
2.) I have been busy at races...There are way too many "BIG" races now days. I almost have to be at a different race every weekend.
3.) I have been developing new products. We are committed to staying on top of the brushless game, and have been working on "new" stuff.

I do not have any more details at this time, but ask you to stay posted as I believe there will be great things to come from MurfDogg Motor Works!

I'd like to thank all my loyal customers for your continued support!

To my team drivers... thanks for all the hard work, you make my products nearly unbeatable!!!

Matt

Default Reedy Truck Race

Heading down to the Reedy Truck Race in about an hour. MurfDogg Motors have dominated this race the past 2 years...With Nick Lasley winning Modified and 19turn and Jayson Pang winning Stock in 2007. In 2008 Cody Turner pulled of the triple crown sweep! This year, Cody and Nick will both be battling it out representing MurfDogg Motor Works in the Factory Modified Classes.

We will try to make it 3 sweeps in a row for MurfDogg power! Brent Calvert and Brent Bisbee will hold up the flag in battle this weekend.

See ya at the track!!!
