It is in stock now
https://www.teamassociated.com/parts...mpetition_esc/
Has a programmer too
https://www.teamassociated.com/parts..._programmer_2/
And available seperately

I was quite surprised to see it. I don't remember hearing any talk about it layely. Maybe all the B64D hype overshadowed it? I think my 1000Z might be phased out soon. 800Z too, eventually.

Hi,
Can someone tell me if the Blackbox 1000Z+ & the 510R are useable with Sanwa SSR or SHR mode?
Thanks!
Regards, Chris

Used in Formula and VTA racing classes
Reedy's Sonic 540-M3 motor is now available in a version that meets ROAR's unique guidelines for 25.5 turn motors used in Formula and VTA racing classes! Resistance measures at the minimum legal value and shares the same great features list as the rest of the 540-M3 line.

Has anyone tried the ROAR legal 25.5 in F1 or VTA yet? If so, where are you guys starting with timing and gearing, and what size track and surface are you running on? There's nothing out there in regards to info for this motor, so it would be nice to get a few baselines to try.

YMMV definitely applies here, because I ran my stator and rotor numbers against 5 different 25.5 motors (Fantom, Trinity, TSR, Novak, Motiv), and the Reedy was the worst motor I've ever measured. The rotor rates somewhere between refrigerator magnet and the old ceramic can magnets from brushed motors. The resistance on my MMS is about 3 ohms higher (mid 55's ) than any other 25.5 that I've tested, and the measurements across the three poles are all over the place. The assembly was also off as after I disassembled and reassembled the motor, amp draw dropped by half an amp. I'm not sure if the can screws were too tight or if the bearings were out of alignment, but so far mine is turning out to be a paperweight compared to the other 25.5's that I have. I had a hard time just breaking the screws loose on the motor because the can screws had so much thread lock on them (why?). On the positive side, the sensor board is spot on across all three phases, just like my other Reedy motors. The only way that I could get decent performance numbers was to crank the timing past the markings on the endbell to 53 degrees. Anything more than that and amp draw shot up dramatically, but gains on RPM were minimal, so I backed it to 53. I'm honestly disappointed in the motor since the 13.5s that I have run great in my 12th scale and oval cars. I plan on giving it a shakedown run in my F1 this weekend, but based on what I've seen on the bench it will probably go back in my pit box or posted in the B/S/T section.
