Hmmm, after posting a comment in this thread I now realise there has been numerous 'questions' asked but the last 'reply' was February 2012! Obviously this thread is dead????

Another ESC, I'm fairly certain your current ESC still works seeing it never gets used other than you caressing each day.

It is time to revive this thread. Sean C and I will be sure to check it regularly to answer all of your Reedy product questions. As far as the Blackbox ESC goes, we are in the final testing stages and are ready to enter production.

We will list some full specs down the road, but for now I can tell you that it supports 1S operation with no RX battery, and can be used in 4wd SC. Most drivers appreciate the feel of the ESC compared to what they normally use.

Keven Hebert has, since the Snowbirds, been using the ESC in his mod 1/12 and TC and won the ROAR Nats 1/12 with it.

If you prefer to contact us by PM that is fine too or via Facebook.

Can't wait Rick. Electric seems to be booming here again. I can't wait to promote and showcase even more Reedy Power!

Default Sonic Mach 3 Motors

Saw these new motors listed on the website. They even have a version for 1S applications, ie 1/12 and WGT onroad. Anybody run them yet?

I got to run my 21.5 M3 in USGT....it ran a lot cooler and seem more torque out of the corners.

my new 17.5 M3 was tested at our track by a very respectable driver in 17.5 stock touring car, and he thought it was a good motor.

I plan on running the 17.5 SS version in my TC6.2 on our next club race....Ill report back with my info

Really like the ss in touring. Rolled out with 4.0 at 40 degrees of timing. Gets hotter then the reg m3 at the same timing.

well I ran the 17.5 M3 in TC this past Sunday.....it was on point and was very fast for me and my driving style. Started out in the 11.5-11.7 sec spread...got as low as a 11.4 by the third round. Swapped to the Reedy 17.5 M3 SS and dropped to 11.0 to 11.2 sec spread. No change in gearing or timing. It was a very big difference for me. I didn't feel like I was lost on horsepower on the straight. I think once I get adjusted to TC it will only get better

Really liking the new motors....looking forward to improving my 17.5 TC and USGT racing with the M3 line of motors....

Your car 17.5 car looked real good that Sunday. I was able to get my 17.5 M3 down to 11.8 and thought I was fast till I seen your car....LOL I will be picking up a SS 17.5 soon.

The Reedy page says the SS 17.5 M3 is for one cell. Did you run the motor "as is" in your TC or did you change the rotor?
