Thx alot Judi. I get my plaque next month at the final's. I've got the monopoly on points so I get to just show up and have fun without any pressure. It's gonna be great. I'm focusing on the cash payout though. 500 bucks to win this one.

When you get your award, try to have someone get me

your picture, or maybe they'll put it up on the web-site!

How nice to be able to go to a race and just have fun and

concentrate on winning the $$$$$$$$$$$ !

I saw you collect shot glasses, guess I'll have to find you

a good one from California!!!!!

Will do. Yeah I need one from California, that would be great. I'm heading to Georgia for work next week so I'm gonna pick me up some more glasses. I still need to get one for my home state of Oklahoma, hehe.

harjo: Nice job Bud! Sounds like you kicked butt and took names. The pressure is off, so bring home the cash.

Good Luck
Scott

P.S. You don't put anything in those shot classes, do you?

UPDATE!!!! Scott talked to Jimmy today:

JBRL: Jimmy suggested bringing wet and dry tires, because he

won't know if he's going to run it wet or dry until race day.

REEDY RACE: Old Dudes, will be a class, write it on your entry form.

Hand-Out motor: Jimmy said he's "almost 100%" sure there will be one.

We will be prepared with Banzai motors just in case.

Track will be run dry for the Reedy unless it rains.

That sucks on tires for the JBRL!

It should be one or the other. Oh well. How great would it be to run Banzai handout motors for the Reedy!

Wouldn't it be nice NOT to have a hand-out!

We don't believe in hand-out motors, unless you're going

to use hand-out batteries! Motors are only as good as your

batteries! So, it sure doesn't even out the playing field

without hand-out batteries! And this is a subject we could

go on and on about.

Very true Judi. I would prefer there be no handouts as well. If they do require them it woud not be a bad thing for them to be Banzai though!

I just hate waste of any kind, particularly in R/C!

And it seems the hand-outs are only good for "fishing weights"

after the race, forced to buy something no-one uses!

Also, we already heard from some that they will be moving

from stock to 19t

if there is a hand-out stock. We will be prepared with C2's and K19's.

Remember, if you need motors or batteries, call us or Keith for batteries.

We are working hard already for motors for the JBRL and Reedy.

My handout motors do not become paper weights. They become new motors for guys in the novice class! I understand the argument for handout but it realy does not level the field as there are still good and not so good motors and batteries do play a huge part in this as well. I suppose we will see.

Great idea Casper! Especially because I don't like waste,

and we have seen a lot, and I mean a lot, of motors that

were thrown away at several hand-out races! So, heads up guys!

Give those motors to a novice when you're done with them.

It is the first thing I do when I get a handout motor out of my car the next race day. I usually cut the comm and then find a kid or someone with out a ton of stuff in there pit and see if they want it. They are usually super happy to have anything "new" and even though it is a "handout" motor it is a lot of times better then what they are running and if it helps them so they can come back again then it is well worth it!
