Good job Vanair!!!! And NO, I am NOT losing you to

1/5th scale!! All kidding aside, thank you!

Johnny S., just looked at the SoCal results, you had a 14 lap run,

same as Casper. Good job too!!!

I had a decent run, lost it on the last turn, marshall was slow getting to it and then waited to put me behind the person that got 2nd.

Who is heading down the San Diego this weekend for the Family Hobbies race thing they are doing? Slim was asking people if they were going or not. I may go depending on whether or not my Dad wants to do it, since he will be flying to South Carolina and will be coming home Friday night.

What's the deal with this race? Won't be as long as a Babcock day, I'm assuming? What about tires for this track???

They are limiting to 125 per the entry form. Keith ran down there a couple weeks ago and said ifmar pins for tires. They will have gas trucks there. I would not expect an all day event (JBRL all day) but a full day of racing. Electric mains are 6 min like so cal is doing.

We're not too good at keeping track on how many runs we have

been getting on the CP mods before cutting the comms, but our

friend Andy did, he got 53 runs before he cut the comm, and re-installed

the same brushes! I thought that "record" would hold, but today

Banzai Team driver, Curtis, emailed that he now has 70 runs without

cutting the comm or changing brushes. He said he doesn't think it has

lost any power yet!!

We're so used to cutting comms and changing brushes, it's hard to not

want to do what we've always done. These motors and brushes are

really great and I think everyone is really happy with them!!
