Hey everybody, it sounds like the JBRL was absolutely dialed. One day I'll come out to one of them things. Team Banzai must have been on fire with those wins/top 3s...I guess that stuff just sort of happens with Scott and Judi there to keep the pressure on.

BTW Jason I know I sound like a kiss ass but I think you're a great photographer. I showed my girlfriend your pics from the Shootout and she agreed. I wish we had you up in Washington to take some pics but I'm pretty psyched about the images you got from Camarillo so its all good.

I just wanted to say thank you to Team Losi, Banzai, Slingshot, Tekin, Chaos paints, and the rest of the companies that helped me out this weekend. It was a low turnout but I'll be damned if I didn't have a good time hanging out with the racers in Washington. Everyone was in a good mood, no complaints, and we all just enjoyed eachothers' company. Team Losi took 6 of 8 classes with Kyosho winning 4wd stock and AE winning 2wd Stock. It should also be noted that the stock truck and Junior buggy winner was 9yr old Dakotah Phend from Michigan. He held off the late entry of Chris Bridgewater in the main to take the title. He also put an incredible "old school Kinwaldo" jump pass on me in the 3rd main of 19t 4wd and then went on to win A3. It honestly was awe inspiring and even though I was the victim I still wish you all could have seen it. He was much faster than last year and I can assure you that we are all in trouble.

I'd also like to publicly thank Bill Koch of Panther Tires for being my roomie/driver for the weekend as we had a great time. Also, special thanks to the team from Brood whom were very helpful at the track and kept my motors cut and brushed...I appreciate it.

Lastly my phone took a dump last week and I plan on fixing it soon so if you haven't heard from me that is probably the reason. If you would like to be reinstated into my phone book (or if you'd just like me to have your number) please feel free to email me at [email protected] I'd really like to get myself back up to speed.

Have a good evening everyone.

Happy Racing.

Haha, thanks Jeremy. I would have loved to have been up in Washington with you guys, but I had fun in Camarillo making the A in 19t buggy and being denied the A in mod buggy by about 9 seconds... then getting punted by most of the field in the first lap of the B-main The track wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Scott and Judi - I sent you an email, but I know last time you had some problems receiving a message from me so I'm just checking to see if you got it.

James, you found us!! I knew you couldn't leave R/C, even if

it's just to bash around. He's a great painter also! We thought we lost

him in the hurricane last year, but he survived!! Although I guess

the back is out from the clean-up?? Take care old friend!

Nutfluff, forgot to thank you for the special Nutfluff sandwiches!

OK, I'm still deciding if I like them, but I have to admit, they were

different!!

OK, it's August already!! What's the August schedule for racing??

New Mexico, Las Vegas, Arizona, Florida, and Ohio, where are you

guys?? I think our Mod Nats guys have lost their computers, for

various reasons, that leaves Jeremy for those details!!

Judi- Thanks!!!

Well the word from Florida is that it is hot and freakin' humid. Something like 85% humidity...blah. But open practice starts for the regionals tomorrow, so it should be an interesting weekend.

To everyone else out there, good luck this up coming weekend. late

Marcus is without a computer for a few days visiting family, but he

did call today and check in. Marcus is the current Losi Race Stock

Champ, and he finished this week-end 5th in 2wd stock at the Roar

Regionals in Florida! Good race Marcus! He got his new Losi too!

Ryan James, where are you?? Haven't seen you since the Shoot-Out?

The Boice family and Kevin Thompson have checked in, they'll be coming

from Vegas to race at Hemet! Scott and I will be at Hemet too!

Casper, we probably should start posting some info for people who have

never been to Hemet before, maybe tires, and motels, etc.??

They have a good Sizzler there!!!!!!!

Working on a new batch of CO27's, KD19's and of course mods. Anybody

need me to bring stuff for them to Hemet, email me.

The Dirt info.

The track is large. Probably the largest track we will attend for the JBRL. The dirt is on the loamy side but kept wet. Red Directionals and Red Ifmar pins for truck. Silver or Red 7202 in buggy and ifmar pins or bigshots in the rear.

Hotels. The host hotel for all the dirt big races is the Best Value Inn and Suites. It is a nice hotel with large rooms at a reasonable price. There are a Motel 6 and a super 8 on the west end of Florida st that are nice as well. The Motel 6 is cheap and the rooms are large and clean. Not the nicest place in the world but ok in R/C standards.
