Yep, I got to the track last night. Raced 2 wheel mod. Still adjusting the ol setup some. I dont think the holeshots were good enough for mod, i thin ki needed squares but other than that, the car was getting better with each run.

Masami is totally old school and incredibly nice. He talks to everyone, goes out of his way to sweep the tracks and pick up trash. He just plain helps the hobby for everyone. I wish all team drivers were this way...heck I wish all RC racers were this way. The tracks would always be clean and everyone would always be smiling.

Actually, since I'm "The Great Ones" #1 fan,

I just might have to get out there and practice

so I can be teamed up with him for the Pro/Am !

AND, I'm the adopted mom of Team Slant Eyes!!

Right before the Cactus Classic, Masami, Easton, and some other Yokomo guys were at Hot Rod's practicing, as the track surfaces are close. It was pretty sweet to see them stay and race in the club race. And you're right, Masami is one of the nicest guys ever. You would never know that he is the King of r/c until you see him drive. Totally modest and cool.
