BANZAI Motors

Chris, the Motel 6 is about 3-4 miles from the track.
It's not the best, but motels get expensive that time of year.
Pre-season baseball, golf tournament, and a major cowboy
festival, sprint cars, and the Cactus!!
Here's the number: 480-945-9506

Sorry Mom. I think Florida suprised everyone. I was suprised to see them take over like that.
losi09-- Start with 20/78 or 21/82 depending on what spur you use. Depending on the track you can go up or down a tooth, but 20 should get you real close!
Geez, Chris-- Sounds like something an engineer would write!

Thanks, Judi. The reservation is made...$63 a night during the week and $72 a night during the weekend for those interested.
The only bummer about the whole weekend is that Ashley isn't racing. Without a sportsman class I really don't want her to get in the way and get yelled at. It kinda stinks because she is almost fast enough to actually do well. Next year I guess...
See ya all there!

With it being open stock I am sure she will not be the slowest person out there. She does a good job of holding her line so faster people can get around her. If she wants to race I am sure she would have fun. It is up to you guys though. Like I said though I am sure she will not be the slowest person there since I have seen her skills grow all last year in the JBRL! The only way to get faster is to drive!

Hi all,
we're back from Austria, the land of mountains and snow. SNOW??
In Middle Europe spring has startet now. 50°F and snow only above 5000 ft!
This was my first race at Hohenems, but definitly not my last. One of the best organised race, we had great fun. Drivers came from 6 different countries.
The track was great, not too fast, not too easy. I saw alot of people using brushless systems, mostly 5.5 or equivalent motors what i heard.
I used my 13x2 CP based Banzai motor and it worked very well. No powerproblem against the BL and very easy to drive. BL do wheelies everywhere. Only service was whiping off the dust.
Tires as usual, Schumacher minipin + stagger rib yellow.
55 competitors in 2 wd, 4 rounds of qualifying with 2 counts, laps + time.
After racing buggy on carpet in march 06 the last time, i was very happy to stay in a-main until --- the last round. Then i was kicked out of the a by 0.5 sec!
Wearing the BQ helmet-- with Banzai sticker on it -- i won the 1st b-main and finished 2nd in the 2nd b-main. This was 12th place overall.
Gerd finished 20th and Fritze 47th, he broke a lot in qualifying.
In the next days they will have many pic's here:

Next big race is Paris / France in march. Look for this awesome track:

If you book on-line room rates are decreased a little. Ryan, Keith and I are booked at the Motel 6! Sounds like we will have to throw a party! LOL Now the trick will be keeping Keith from working on his stuff in the room!
We may have to make the trekk out ot Sizzler just for Mom one night!
We are planning on getting in Wed night late so we can get some pratice in on the track.

Casper, go ahead and post the JBRL GAS series. Lots of
Banzai drivers also run gas. I didn't get anything from Jimmy yet.
Did you notice the rpshobbies.com ???????

RPS is Chris's new track. I heard it was approved and he is in the process of buying Dirt!!!! He has to hurry if he will be supporting a JBRL race! I hope that track does as well as I think it can. I hear it will be primarily gas at first with hopes of an electric track soon to follow. We will see what comes of it!
