Same manufacture-- different quality cells.
the "race" quality batteries are also listed on amazon --- for substantially more cost

We recommend the charge cables from the "original" charge cable maker--- TQ wire

I've been trying to buy more Sunpadow gold-level batteries for almost a year now, in the USA.
My entire fleet was originally bought on Amazon, but they've been out of stock for a very long time now.
Does anyone know when they will come back, or is it just a covid supply chain issue?

Hi:
I am having a charging problem with a Sunpadow battery. When connected to my iCharger a "connection error" message is displayed. I also tried on my backup ISD charger with a separate charging cable, and it will also not charge. The battery is 4200 mah Platin series. The battery has been with me for less than a month and was purchased from the Side Piece site. I have been using two of the same batteries without any issues and opened this third one last weekend for some action at 180 and as mentioned, it won't take a charge. Any ideas?

did you test the voltage of the battery? if it's undercharged you may have to jump start it by charging it like a nimh up until the standard low voltage for a lipo. then charge it the rest of the way and any future charging like a normal lipo.

I had the exact same problem, but it was definitely properly charged. Apparently it was something else, I never figured it out.

I'm currently eyeing a platin ULCG pack, but was wondering this:
Given the same capacity 2S stick pack, are there any downsides electrically for the ULCG?
Would the IR or discharge curves be similar to a full size pack, or are there compromises?

Which pack? IR are decent on the 5500 ... So much that they have won stock TC race on carpet.

In TC right now it's more about mass movement (and runtime for mod). The movement with ROAR away from 6m to 5m racing will make more and more Mod racers look at 4k batteries in all conditions.

The 4k pack is really a mod TC and 4wd offroad only pack. It doesn't excel for stock racing... Unless we are taking about a unique weight placement like in a Tamiya mini
