Default Brushes??

Hey Dave,
When breaking-in brushes, is high amp draw always better?
Is the higher amp draw going to produce more RPM?
Does higher amp draw give you more torque?

Thanks!

Typically once you start your break in you will see high amp draw due to the brushes arent seated. Watch for it to stabilize after 2-3 min. at 2v.

767 - 6-8 amps
4499's 5.5 - 7amps
F brushes - 9-11 amps

Sorry for the late response been busy

David,
So all along I was under the impression that high amp draw was a good thing. If it is high at break-in ...should it come down? Do you reccommend using a fan to break-in the brushes?
Sorry for so many questions!
Jeff

I use a fan during break in but the main reason I do is to help keep temps down during the run in.

How does amp draw relate to torque and rpm in overall motor performance for off road racing?
