Hey whats up Cameron, going to the Columbia Cup?

We should have our next batch of 4000's in a day or 2, we have 5000's if you want to upgrade?

How does it fit in the xxx-cr?

I sold my gas truck due to the lack of weekender racers and going to start racing electric's again. (my first love anyway). The last I raced electrics a 1700mha SCE cell was the biggest you could get. I was leaning towards the 4000 just to shave some weight off the car easly. I will be racing mod, starting out with a 7.5. I have not run lipo's before. In the long run would I be better off with a 5000?

The 5000's should fit the CR. As far as shaving weight goes, you'll probably still have to add weight with a 5000 just to make minimum.

My car almost makes weight without a battery. . No really Im at 47oz. and the 5000 should be about 11.6oz. ROAR min weight is 53 oz. correct? I figured the 4000 would put me close to 54oz.

5000 will fit fine.

For weight:

3/4oz. in the rear of battery section back by the anti squat

3/4oz. in front of the battery

1/4oz. in front of the servo horn but center on the chassis

1/4 - 1/2oz. in the front bulkhead.

If you need pics let me know and I will post pics of my trucks, which I know you are running a buggy, but this setup works real well for both

I've found that minimum weight cars don't perform as well. The only exception might be at a Stock National where everything is regulated and you are looking for every advantage. Otherwise the extra once is just more traction.
