Questions?? New to RC

Greeting guys,

I am new to RC and just bought a TT-01 Type E Chassis RTR.
But after assembly, I faced a problem.

When I switch it on, the servo automatically turn to the left without having me to steer.
I am using a Futaba S3003 servo with a Hobao 2.4GHz receiver.

I tried figuring out for few days but couldn't get any solution.. What could have happen?

Any advice?

hi Dude! I'm new to RC as well, let's try if I can help. Do some test. Is it moving when your moving the steering left and right? maybe it turns left as it is default zero position. You can also try and adjust the trimming to your radio.

I had encounter that problem but on my throttle servo, i was cleaning it up and i think some water went it to my servo and whenever I turn it on it turns i can't move it as well on my radio then bottom of my servo heats up a bit so I turn it off. Tried to use blower to dry it up and after 30 mins, it worked well again. Now I'm a bit careful cleaning my buggy esp on the servo. I'm not sure if same thing happened to you.

How many servo's do you have? the Futaba that your using is quite cheap. I think its less than $20. You could get another one or much better and try troubleshooting it. Plug another servo and see if that locking still happens. If it does not happen then maybe you have a faulty servo. As its new I think it still under warranty..

Have you tried switching Steering(1) slot to Throttle(2) and see if at 2 it still steer to one sided once you turn on?

1) re-adjust your servo horn
2) adjust tx sub trim to neutral

from there catch your servo alignment.

Does the RTR come stock with a hobao rx?

Do you have to bind the rx to tx?
