esc over heat
Hi all
just wanna check and get advice.i am on 10t wif 45a esc trackstar combo
but the problem is it gets over heats quite fast. Any recommendations to reduce the temp?maybe change to a higher esc? Change spurs or pinion? Current settings 80t and 29t.all advise is needed.thks.oh ya i am on dib rs .

There's a lot to consider.
Are u over-gearing? Check ur gear ratio.
How long are u running yr car?
Touring or Drifting?
Is there any binding of the car?
Check ard the Electric On Road thread and see wht others run in the similar car. U will get a sense of wht turn motor to use, Amp of ESC, pinion and spur size, etc.

im on a dib rs too. running a tamiya stock esc for hours fine , check whether you got build your chassis properly and whether your esc can support the battery type you using.
