TP RCSC Sundown (RC Night Race) 2012 - 7th December 2012

Temasek Polytechnic's Radio Controlled Sports Club will be holding it's first Sundown Race on our very own track. All racers are welcomed to join us in this event held by TP RCSC. Let's all make this a successful event.

Free Practice Session : 5th December 2012, 5pm-9.30pm (Raceday lighting conditions will be replicated)

RaceDay : 7th December 2012
Time : Registration starts at 5.00pm
Race Fee : $10/Class

*note : Rental Transponders will be charged at $5 and there are limited quantities. However, racers are advised to bring their own transponders. Priority will be given to those who indicate that they require a Rental Transponder below

Classes & Restrictions

RCSC Spec Class

Chassis : Any 1/10 Touring Chassis
Motor : Open to all Brushless 17.5T motors, Motor timing must be at 0deg
ESC : Open to all ESCs which supports "blinky" mode (No boost/turbo) in which "blinky" mode must be used for this class
Gear Ratio : FDR no less than 6.0
Battery : Lithium Polymer 2S hard case 7.4v battery pack / 7.2v 6-cell sub-C sized NiMH batteries
Bodyshell : Any 190mm bodyshells; rear wing must not be higher than roofline
Tires : Any touring tires

RCSC SuperStock Class

Race Format

Qualifying
2 Qualifying runs, 6 Minutes per Run. Best lap timings(from any of the 2 rounds) will be used to determine Grid Positions for Finals

Finals
3 Rounds of Finals, 6 Minutes per round. Results from Best 2 of 3 rounds will be used to determine Final Standings. In an event of a tie in position, the racer with the fastest best lap time will be awarded the higher of the two positions.

Location of Event :
Temasek Polytechnic School of Engineering
Block 10 Level 3 Engineering Hall 1

If Driving :
Enter from west gate along Tampines Avenue 1
Drive towards Lobby E, park between lobby E and F for convenience.
Take the lift in lobby E to 3rd floor

If taking Public Transport :
Buses to Temasek Polytechnic : 8, 15, 23, 69, 518
From Tampines MRT, you can take bus 23 from Tampines Interchange.
From Bedok MRT, you can take bus 69 from Bedok Interchange.
Alight at Main gate (centre of campus), walk in via overhead bridge and take the first right turn after the DBS ATM to enter to engineering school.
