Default EP Car Gearing

Hi, how can I determine the factor to multiply to get the FDR?

Eg, I am using a 120/40 gearing, so

FDR = 120 / 40 * X

How to I determine X?

Wah...I think the manual should have the final drive, check out the manual first. If not, count the no of teeth on the pulley and the diff pulley and then the wheel dia and then do this do that to get the final ratio heehe...sorry not very sure how to do it too...anybody here can help, Alvin, I'm sure you noe.

Since u guys are all on 04/414 chassis:

Transmission Ratio = 2.133:1 (Varies car to car)
Gear Ratio = Spur/Pinion, say for Type T my favourite FDR @ RCS is 120/40, or 3:1

Final Drive Ratio = Transmission Ratio x Gear Ratio, so 2.133x3 = approx 6.4:1 final drive ratio.

To find the transmission ratio, divide the number of teeth on your diff pulley by the teeth on the layshaft. 414/04 ball differential's pully has 32 teeth, the layshaft has 15 if I am not mistaken, so 32/15 = 2.133

Do correct me if I am wrong.
