Hi, to all those who have been playing 1/5 on or off road.... I am very interested in trying out this huge cars. What makes & model do you recommend for low to mid budget?
What are the average price for rim/tyre set and body shell for both on/off road?

Hi ket2175, i am actually keen on both on and off road. Base on my research over the net, kingmotor and rovan seems value for money. How are they compared to Hpi, losi?

For on road, it seems like European brands are dominating the market. Expensive!!! :P
Maybe a good condition second hand car would be an option to look out for.

Hi Elres8,

For offroad I own a HPI Baja 5B SS , for onroad I own a Contrast Neox Q15.

I heard Hpi and Losi stock plastic parts quality is better compare to Kingmotor and Rovan, but how true I no know as I only try Hpi before. Now got some people is selling Hpi Baja.

For onroad u can get 2nd hand car if u don't mind.

For offroad me and my friend play HPI Baja and Losi 5ive t and DBXL.

For onroad we play FG , HARM , RS5 and CONTRAST.

Btw, how do you guys transport your baja or other 1/5 scale to the bashing/racing spots?

Asking cause I don't have a car, only "BMW" and taking MRT with a container of petrol, one big size RC car ...

If take taxi to tuas from my place (yishun), sure very expensive.
