Challenge Races Information
2011 Racecraft Infinity On-Road Challenge Races
1. Race Dates
The Challenge series of races will commence on Feb 20th. Due to scheduling conflicts, the races will resume on 3rd April and thereafter be held monthly on the first Sunday of the month.
The specific race dates are 20 Feb, 3 Apr, 1 May, 5 Jun, 3 Jul, 7 Aug, 4 Sep, 2 Oct and 6 Nov.
Mark them down in your calendars NOW !
2. Classes / Rules
The following 2 classes will be run at each of the races:-
a. Open Class
Chassis Open to any 4WD TC chassis
Battery Open
Motor Open
ESC Open
Gear Ratio - Open
Bodyshell Open
Min Weight 1400g (NB Please see Ballast Weight below)
Tyres Closed to Team Powers only (S$38 per set from Racecraft, pre-mounted)
b. Stock Class
Chassis Open to any 4WD TC chassis
Battery Open
Motor Brushless 17.5T open to any brand
ESC Any brushless ESC. No restriction on the use of dynamic timing on ESC
Bodyshell Open
Min Weight 1450g (NB Please see Ballast Weight below)
Tyres Closed to Ride only (S$38 per set from Racecraft, pre-mounted)
c. Ballast Weight
Racers who finish on the podium in any of the races will be required to add the following Ballast Weights at the next race:-
- First : 20 grams
- Second : 15 grams
- Third : 10 grams
Racers who win multiple races will be required to add the required Ballast Weights up to a maximum of 50 grams above the class Minimum Weight (eg an Open Class Racer who wins the first race, will have to observe a minimum weight of 1400 + 20 = 1420 grams in the 2nd race. If the same racer wins the second race, the minimum weight he is to observe in the third and subsequent races will be 1420 + 20 = 1440 grams. Should he win a race for the third time, the minimum weight he is to observe for the rest of the 2011 races will be 1440 + 10 = 1450 grams.)
3. Format of Racing
The following format of racing will be adopted:-
a. Qualifying
Open Class: 3 x 6 mins qualifying heats. Best 1 of 3 to count.
Stock Class: 3 x 8 mins qualifying heats. Best 1 of 3 to count
b. Finals

the Racecraft stock class for this year will only be brushless motor.
you can use higher turm motor also , as long its not lower than 17.5T
