enquiry on lipo batts

Default enquiry on lipo batts

hey all. i am converting to lipo and want to know more before doing the change.

what is 20c, 25c and 30c. what does these means.

how about charging the batt, what must be taken note.

any mods needed to be done for my car, esc and motor.

what type of charger is needed

and balancing.

The C ratings are simply a way of talking about charge and discharge rates for
batteries, the higher u get the faster it drains out.


how about charging the batt, what must be taken note.

Always balance charger the batteries, it helps in the long run.

any mods needed to be done for my car, esc and motor.

Use Deans connectors their good enough.

what type of charger is needed

Any Li-po charger that can balance charger is all u need.

than about the alarm thai i hear from the batt. is it an add-on?

Yes that is add on. Or your ESC may come with Lipo cut off, meaning that when one of your cell drop below a certain voltage(which you can set), you cannot throttle anymore.

okie. than can all esc take lipo batts be it BL or Brushed and do i need to do and mods to the esc or batt or motor if i convert. i know i have to modify my chassis.

what else do i have to do

Both belt and shaft is ok for drifting and esc it better to go with BL wth sensored will be good.
