@mrbeno: nice collection you have there
@kiong : nice score, as you said having the original wheels would be great. but the aluminum wheels are sooo sweet

a bit OT please bear with my ignorance regarding this motor.
Do you know what brand of pinion with 48p can be used for this motor and where to buy? the hole of pinion for 1/10th scale is to big for the said motor shaft, thanks

This should be a micro motor. Same as the one used for Tamiya Tamtech. Try stargek and search pinion under Tamtech gear.

VTR ... Nice optima! But hor, the cable tie will slip out when you jump. I recommend you buy the collars from CRP. Or you can opt for the alloy ones

As for the tires, They appear to be identical to my Maxxum's original tires. I got the Maxxum originals (2) and know I have 2 more of the original somewhere. I have 2-3 more storage areas too look through with my tires and rims and old shells also my old Tamiya Box's of the Fox/Falcon and 956. I am hoping the Maxxuma box is there as well. But I do remember haveing parts in these.

But I will take detailed photos of the Maxxxum/Optima tires after dinner tonight, I believe they are identicle as the one's in the "Optima mid photo" from 4J's. When I first got the Maxxum I remember putting slicks on it.

PS if you look at my Fox photos, those are the 2 tires. Just need to clean the dirt off of them and do the hunt for the others.

Also can't wait to you get those Optima's done Kiong and 4J

Default Kyosho Maxxum Bridgetone tires.

Just took these photos after dinner, I did a very light cleaning with soap and water and a toothbruch, but that stuborn vintage dust remained a bit. But Here are the orginal tires that I got with the Maxxum and I believe were the same for the optima in 4J's photo. (Still got to find the other missing 2 tires.) But let me know if you want more photos of them in detail. I also forgot to add the orginaly Kyosho rotory Speed controller but will take that later tonight or tommorrow
