Default buggy to monster truck 'truggy'

has anyone tried converting your buggy to monster truck... yap! it just changing of the wheels to that of MT and maybe the stock towers and the center gear.

any comments????

I have ever run my hyper 7 with dom tyres, wow fun man!!! the best thing is, it managed to willie a couple of times!!!!

I just got my ofna 9.5 and has put in mt wheels on. however, i have not started playing with it yet.

that's great... i probably should expect some willie as well! )

is there any other things that i need to change???

BTW, what is the type of servo that you used for your steering for the big tires??? is a normal one good enough? is high torque (13kg/cm) recommended?

need your advice.

i did just the opposite, i converted my 2 speed monster pirate/dominator to buggy, using hyper 7 wheels and shell, and use lower t center spurs,handling not so good but the speed and torgue is good due to the 2 speed

you have to use a high torque servo la. I don't think normal servo can take it.

u mentioned handling not so good...

it could be that u r used to monoster truck handling and now its a buggy, you no longer enjoy the broad width that u used to have when doing sharp cornering... just two cent worth comment...

so u like your new buggy version or u prefer the mt?

actually its due to the high ground clearance, truck settings well they're both nice to play, buggy very agile but truck can run over anything,well i prefer to run over anything and do crazy jumps, truck has much better mid air control during high jumps.

actually, come to think about it... gs storm unlimited truck is also a buggy body but with mt tires...
