Well just a little update, received an email from the race organizer saying that team Korea, Philipine, Indonesia, Singapore, Kuwait, Japan and New Zealand have arrived and was testing at the track all day and will be all day tomorrow. Also Some Auzzie arrived today too. He told me that over half the drivers will be there tomorrow. So its shaping up to be an unforgettable FEMCA! It is also confirmed that Peter Cooper aka Mr. Slyfox will be doing the timing as well as some live timing and video... http://www.buggy-pitstop.com/wordpress/?page_id=3854

Day 1 - Controlled Practice

Well we arrived at the track for the start of round 2 of controlled practice. It just mesmerizes me that many different cultures all come together to meet in one location to race remote control cars. There are over 11 different counties represented at FEMCA this year. The location this year is RC Connections in Glenmarie Kuala Lumpur. RC Connections has one of the best facilities that I have been to. It carters for all types of RC, 1/8th Off-road which we are most interested about this week, Nitro On-road, Drift and even has a rock crawling track. It’s just amazing and a great RC location.... http://www.buggy-pitstop.com/wordpress/?page_id=3854

Day 2 – Opening Ceremony and Qualifying

Three letters to describe today W O W! Today was some flat out world class racing. With some very good weather, a little to humid for me but the rain held off. Woke up today check the weather forecast before we left, didn’t sound good. Scatted thunder storms all day, thunder storms and RC don’t mix as you will know.... http://www.buggy-pitstop.com/wordpress/?page_id=3854

After 3 rounds of qualifying Glenn is leading the Singapore contingent ranking 19th place overall, if I'm not mistaken.

Still Hara taking the TQ after 3 rounds, which by the way is 3secs faster compared to yesterday's round with high posibility of him reaching 16 laps in the next round

Day 3 Friday – Qualifying

http://www.buggy-pitstop.com/wordpre...7/img_5601.png

Today couldn’t have more been prefect, weather was great, racing was great and records were broken! Hara breaking into the 16 lapper bracket as well as the 37 second lap times! Once again everyone was getting faster and faster. Set-Ups were changing trying to find that extra second or two.

our singapore racers can never be in a - main.

our buggy track is very horrible, the track owener refuse to put money to improve the track.

the track owener is just greedy, every race money and membership that he got goes straight into his pocket !

if the malaysian can have a good track, i dont see why singapore could not have a good track

I am not in defense of anybody, nor am I a Singaporean, but I guess you yourself knows the answer why the local track is in that condition. It is very hard to maintain a track much more it is expensive, why do I say so because I have a good friend back home who owns a track, u have to dig deep in ur pocket just to maintain a proper track, race fees can not cover the expenses alone, and I think you should know the situation first before accusing somebody of those things. Just my 2 cents cheers

Today is the last day of qualifying and later this afternoon is the start of the lower mains.

check the live feed here http://76.164.192.66/slyfoxrmt/livet...ivetiming.aspx

Dear brother CROSTEN

We know you have a good intention to make it better..and we know it.

but come on lah...

We have a track to play and we should be grateful to Leng contribution.

If you want to make it better, then u pour in money for him to do it and to think by your statment here can change it ??

If the track does not suit your standard, then dun play loh. We are happy even without you exist.

Here is to make friends and not complaining abt track facility and this will lead to misunderstanding . So please, if you have suggestion, go straight to tell Leng and not here talking here.

cheers and let go to 'new beijing' to discuss more if you want to and not here.

ps: CB Khoo.. am i serious enough and not TCSS ?? :D

foampervert 07-24-2009 09:26 PM

whoa there...

Hiya Crosten,

Greedy? straight into his pocket? where do you think the track rental, trophies, tentage, tables and chairs, the race director fees come from? out of his arse?

Good grief. If peeps actually support his track, bring money to his shop, he won't have a 'horrible' track. people like you have gone off and made 'free' tracks where you dunt have to maintain, pay, or even clear the rubbish you leave behind... because you have this kind of attitude towards the RC community>>> Cheap RC, Cheap is good, dunt pay money even better... etc.

For your information, every race Leng runs, he LOOSES money... yes that's right! the race fees are not even enough to cover anything. Leng organises the race every month because HE enjoys racing and HE likes to see people enjoy the hobby.

If you want a nice track, patronise his store, buy stuff off him and stop going to the free play tracks.

You obviously know nothing about organising races nor upkeeping tracks or even running a RC business. I suspect you blame Leng and his 'horrible' track for your piss poor performance at GP off-road. If you can't drive and win, dunt blame the track, blame your own pathetic skills and equipment.

Dunt bother replying, or I shall have to taunt and mock you some more.

-Alexander
