i dunno about the rest of them but for me is a no go!!!! why??!!! due to unforseen circumstances that are not avoidable..... got to lay off from RC long long long time, i think.... you guys carry on and enjoy the race. will certainly miss racing with you guys and the RC scene from now on!!! Hhuuuaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

race,on my calculation only 9 person was played ep i wonder where a rider from total hobby???if there no one from ur site to support each other on a small world

race last month!! how ever congrat to organiser rrcutm on last sunday that i saw all a driver have a fun...... that a really fun race,,, and 1 more thing i am heard thats a entry fee only rm 50 n lunch provided, congrat to rrcutm organiser

First of all, let me introduce myself, I am one of The Total Hobby R.C. Enthusiasts (meaning...one of Total Hobby customer la...).

I have one question for you my dear, What is the reason for you to put your quote in this thread? Do you want to join the race on the 17th of May? If you do, You can register here in this thread. But if you Want to ask us RC guys to join other races, please do so at other thread such as Total Hobby Hangout Area. However, I will try to answer your question here.

I will love to highlight a few points that you have made in your quote:

What do you mean a rider from Total Hobby? Maybe What you meant was, a racer from the Total Hobby Race right? Because as a customer of Total Hobby RC, I want to have fun everywhere, all the time and my FUN meaning that I don't have to endure with any problems at all....Only pure FUN....What I mean is, I don't have to bear any HEAT and RAIN (Outdoor laaa). I hate outdoor races (based on experience). Because of these reasons, I opt to race TOTAL HOBBY races because they organised races indoor. And my friend, Believe me when you own several excellent branded Pro Cars, you want the best for your car too. Not saying that you cannot race outdoor, but the facilities must be able to protect my cars too. That is why, I believe that a lot of EP racers chose not to race elsewhere. Furthermore, Total Hobby has already proven themselves by organising so many races at very good locations with the uptmost advance technology Racing system. To tell you the truth I am very Impressed by the way they handle their races (very professional). Guess what....WE HAVE TONNNES OF FUNNN TOGETHER... maybe not the same fun you have mentioned in your quote:

Maybe you can't feel it yet as you are not racing along...Frankly speaking, I have raced everywhere, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Phillipines, Indonesia...everywhere that I could..but everywhere I raced can't beat the feeling I always felt when I race with the Total Hobby RC Racers...

With regards of the entry fees, Come on la...You can't compare racing outdoor (UTM facilities) and Indoor (Big shopping Complex facilities such as air cond, shelter, expensive space..bla-bla-bla). By saying this, I don't mean to tell you that other organisers are not good...Everybody have the same thing in their mind...FUNNNNN!!! But Kunta-kinte, you can't never compare any of us (RC Enthusiasts) because I Believe that we all have the same hobby (off course) so, we are here not to compare but to have fun...If you kept comparing somebody will GET HURT!!! And in this hobby, we love each other mann.... we don't screw other people just because they are different.


My friend, If you want to be a good racer, I suggest you go to Total Hobby Shop at Festive Street Mall, Danga Bay and ask the owner Mr. Asrar for advise. I can tell you, he will only give you good advises. But the best thing is, you will meet hundred of new friends that share the same interest with you. I am saying that from the bottom of my heart...

If you wanna be one of us (RC Enthusiasts)...WELCOME TO OUR WORLD... Hopefully you will feel the FUNNNNN Factor that we are talking about.

The following are my personal comments and it doesn't reflect the shop, the race or any1 else.... just my personal comments.

Hi kuntakinte,

Reading your comments was a pain to me.... but I don't blame you for being a newbie or are you really?

Anyway, welcome to the world of joy, fun and sometimes pain (when ur car hit something on full speed! or in my case, reading your comments).....

1stly - Ur not a player and u enjoyed watching the race, am glad u enjoy the hobby by just watching so far.

2nd - No rider / driver from Total Hobby joins RCCUTM doesn't mean I don't support other people's race. I do run my car at Today's Mart and Senai. I do plan to join Today's race in June since my race schedule is packed (3 races in May). I'm not sure about the rests of the gang but we're no sponsored drivers u know, we have to pay for our spares and entrance fees as well. So if one chose to join or not to join any race, it's entirely individual.

3rd - Ur right, congrats to RCABJ and gang at RCCUTM for great race. Hope every1 enjoyed themselves. I can't join coz got 3 races in May already, if masuk RCCUTM, I think I'm gonna sleep on the sofa for the rests of the mth!

4th - RM50 as race fees while lunch included, not bad, got hainan chicken rice? Just kidding... lol Well, TH entrance fees at RM75 & RM50 for subsequent class is not too far away considering tables, chairs & power points rental, more than 2 boxes of duct tapes used in securing the carpet, carpet costs (no doubt can recycle but still has to get replacement from time to time), trophies, lucky draw items (every race some1 walk home with a brand new car kit! ;), transponder and computer rental and lastly not forgetting the space rentals..... and it always ends up with a NEGATIVE Would u wanna sponsor?

Well do consider this, ur racing in AirCond environment (no heatwave eg in India), rain or shine the race still proceeds , ur gf / wife / mistress can do their hair or manicure or shopping (depending on location) while u can concentrate on ur race. Nobody kacau.....

What's more could I ask for? Every1 is entitled to their opinion and choices, choices in getting in, which brand, budget, and so forth...

5th - If ur gettin into the hobby, do check out the various offers by the various brands, if u ask me, every1 knows what brand I'm running..... for the quality and performance.

So gd luck hunting and hope u'll enjoy the hobby.

And for the 2nd time, I'm not related to TOTAL HOBBY. The above comments are my personal opinions.
