haha!!! used to happen to me... some of the better high end chargers allows you to alter the delta peak... pros and cons.... if you know what you are adjusting, then it's fine, if not, later the battery 'sweat'!! (leak) or worst, catch fire...

the good chargers will overcome this by having software programs that prevent false peak.

also, some batteries are by nature, prone to false peaking... if cells are no so healthy, it'll happen more often...

that's the current problem with the high capacity nimh batteries... that's why a lot of ppl now switch to li-po or li-ion... maintainence free, and hold their charge almost forever....

Thanks!
the A123 lithium-ion cell max charge voltage is 4.10v per cell. not sure if the T15 has a li-ion function... if have, then can lah... some chargers only says 'lithium', but never say lithium-ion or li-po... if can adjust the CV voltage to 4.10v, then it should be fine....

by the way, li-po max charge voltage ranges from 4.20-4.25v, depending on the manufacturer...

Is A123 cells consider LiOn? A123 can charge at 2 to 3C from what i read. T15 can charge liOn, i am pretty sure about it.

hi,

like what i mentioned earlier, A123 is a cell size, not the chemistry of the battery... but the A123 from hyperion is li-ion... not sure of the spec though... if they say can charge at 2-3c, then it should be fine... if the T15 can charge li-ion, then can use loh....

Most definitely can cos I just bought a 12V lead acid batt for my starter box and using the T15 to charge.

T15 only capable of charging and discharging:

* 1-14 nicad or nimh cells,
* 1-5 lithium-ion or lithium-polymer cells
* 2-12v lead-acid batts
