i think most of them uses foam tyres here with one-way.
i did saw a few guys running front diff with foams at RM.
quite fast.

because i still cannot get used to no brake in front. so my speed is slower with this car.
BTW, how are the 2 types of set-up compares? i mean one-way with foam and front diff with foams? which is faster on small track?

It really depends on your driving.

The theory is that you turn faster with one-way.
If you are the aggressive type that brakes lates and turn prob
the diff works for you. Really i can't say, it really up to your preference.

Seems like the MTX3 did extremely well in the last Open race at Raffles Marina (18th May). Winning both 1st & 2nd in A main...

I think they also won by many laps over other make,.. can't remember how many - but I believe it was very significant.

I also heard the race champion broke the track record...

Raffles Marina fastest lap record was previously set by Philip from Hobby Bug in open race #2 (12.8sec if I'm not mistaken).

He also TQ'ed with 32 laps - unbeaten record. I'm sure you have seen him run before? He is very gifted and a nice person as well. Cetainly a role model for everyone.

here is the lap record done by Daryl : 12.52sec

Performance wise i personally perfer mtx-3 than v1-rr....but settings can bring v1-rr very close to the handling of mtx-3
for price wise v1-rr is definitely cheaper...n spare parts availability is easily located at most hobby shops.....v1-rr can take knocks better than mtx-3 in terms of breakage...if u hve a budget get a v1-rr if not get mtx-3...
