Hi to all great bashers at fort road track. I've been a few times there 2months ago but seem like i'm there at the wrong timing cos i see no one there. Really hope to join in as a bashing group with you guys.

I'm still waiting for my radio to arrive. My CRT is ready for ripping anytime now.

Btw what tires do you guys used on the fort road? Currently my CRT is having the stock CRT tires, not sure if could be able to handle well on the "deep, sandy and jumpy" on the fort road. What tires is best on the fort and does it last? Please do advise.

Hope to bash with you guys after CNY.

Oh ya, happy lunar new year to all bashers!! HuaT aRRRR!!

Alright!! So you're the black CRT shell shown on last few posts. I've the SH.28 engine. Still a old student la, therefore the tight budget. Still, i enjoy the bashing fun factor without the commitment for races. Cheers!!

yup....that black crt is mine, but i might start using the bashed up stock body soon....too 'sayang' the black body ah, mebbi juz for display at home.

i'm a basher with a budget too....now saving up to get some proper servos...will propably also install my 2nd hand STS .21 engine before my next bash.

what kinda steering servos u using?

Jus a question, what's the minimum torque needed for a steering servo for truggy? 12kg? 13kg?

I'm running the hi torque servo at 13kg. My personal reason for getting the Hitec servo because it's value for money and if anything happened to the servo, Rotohobby do carry all parts range for the servo, just pick, buy and replace the parts. And if anything really happen, you won't feel much the heart pain compare to those high cost servo. Just my personal thought, each have his/her own thinking ya. Pls don't frame me hor...

It is true that having a huge torque servo is great for those truggy and monster track, but remember this, we'll have to compromise between the speed, torque and battery consumption. The higher the torque, the more current the servo gonna draw from the battery. So it is all boil down to personal preference.

My benchmark to check if the servo is strong enuf is to place the truck stationary on the pit lane metal meshing at Turf. For 12~13kg servo on my LSP-R, the steering hardly moves. But for my L2P, it is okay. So for heavy trucks, it has to be moving before the steering turns. But if you put a 19kg servo like 5998tg or 24kg servo like 5955tg, the truck doesnt need to be moving for the steering to turn. So even if you have a 13kg / 0.10sec servo, all that speed is negated bcos the low 13kg torque servo takes more time to turn the steering on a heavy truck. In fact it can seem even slower than a 19kg servo rated at 0.19sec. Im presently using the 5955tg on my LSP-R, there's no going back once you've tasted a 24kg. I find a 0.10sec servo is more useful as a throttle servo bcos if you like to clear doubles at Turf, you can control the way your truck flys better, more gas to bring the nose up, or more brake to bring the nose down. As for battery consumption, all of hitecs coreless servos drain the battery very fast regardless of high torque or low torque. Only the cored motors like 5625 and 5645 have low battery consumption, and a single humppack can easily last the whole day. Hope this helps.

Default Is 1/10 EP buggy suitable?

Hi guys, i have a Tamiya Desert Gator. I would like to play at Fort too. Question is, any other 1/10 EP buggies out there? Any power point to charge my battery? Normally what time will you guys be there during weekends? Hopefully the terrain will not "over abuse" my buggy
