perhaps a move to brushless is not impossible, the usa uf1 specs looks reasonable.

From what I have read, the brown box 540J is not the same as the kit motors.
The 540J has some CS (copper silver???) brush instead of whatever we get in the kit motors.
Timing should be the same.
Please... don't go out and start buying brown box 540s...
