Note, that is just on an offroad vehicle, would be crazy for onroad.
The VXL motor is very much like a 550 size brushless, packs plenty of torque and punch. It is known to run cooler and way better than the Castle Creation's motors due to higher efficiency. With Low-Voltage-Cutoff for 2S and 3S lipo batteries.
I had also checked with traxxas that this system supports 540 to 700 size motors both brushed or brushless, sensored or sensorless and unlimited turns for all. It also also known for better acceleration than the Mamba Max.
