Cyclone Diff
I still have major problems with Cyclone Diff to run Brushless Modified motor.
if using the plastic diff joints, it simply melts the plastic, using aluminum joints I had many diff screw broken, started using Tamiya 415MSX diff screw and nut and never got it broken anymore, but diff still loosen the tight while running, I am using Much More diff grease and Much More thrust grease, they are very good greases. AS for Brushless Modified I still could not solve the diff issue on Cyclone. My version is Hara Edition.
Now I will try the diff joints made from 3Racing, at least while mounting the diff it looks to work better, I still have to try it, but anyway, I am quite tired of trying things for the diff to work and will use Cyclone in stock racing as from now on.
It should be introduced the RECALL in RC manufactors like there is on market for cars and other products, it is simply not interesting to have a car that does not work in one area or the other.
Cyclone is a top car, handles great, but the diff and CVD´s are not good.

i have tryed the stardard diff screw and the edit one. the edit is slightly stronger but still breaks even when you are racing stock (broke about 2 standard and one edit). as for the diff going loose during a run did you threadlock the screw?.i have just ordered 3 ti nitride diff screws and i hope that they wont break.

Browse through the Tub Cyclone "S" thread and you'll find plenty of info on gearing and the issue I mentioned above.

I built my Diff following the hara guide on mirage japan website and have only ever snaped 1 edit diff screw,
After building the thrust race on the screw, slide on the kit spring then add a 1mm washer on top of the spring.
Like so :-
