Default Maybe it's time to have an on road pan car section?

With 1/12th scale gaining popularity there are several more active threads than there used to be. There are car specific threads, galleries and it seems dividing up the gigantic 1/12th thread would be of help to many of the newer people to 1/12th. To top all that off we've got several 1/10 scale pan cars hitting the market and all the threads that will be associated with them and their specific gearing and setup requirements.

Dividing up the two disciplines will help to keep the important threads on the first couple pages and will help make information easier to find for both TC and pan car racers. I'd be glad to help mod and gets threads moved over if you're willing to divide things up and more help is needed.

The 1/12th scale "forum" is exactly why there is software like vBulletin.

2nd . . . As I have wondered aloud before, this *post* is the best resource on the web for 1/12th scale.

Why not capitalize on it?

Information easily accessed = more traffic = more clicks = more page views = more ad revenue . . . more of what the customer(s) want.

Well, in reality RCTech probably gets more clicks from people that *can't find* the info they're looking for but what percentage of them come back/contribute?

I realize the personal/personnel bandwidth an operation like this requires. The forum seems to be doing well. I mean these are some serious hosting/management costs.

Perhaps RCTech could employ a donation program with a fancy avatar add-on. Then it would be quite clear to RCTech and everyone else who happens upon this board where the *loyalties* lie.

I'll get off my 1/12th scale car stand/box now.

Thanks for playing . . .
