Just started tuning 19T Spec motors and was hoping people have Robi dyno #'s they would be willing to post.

I will post more later...but this is from a brand new Integy 19T spec motor......and it is untuned..stock brushes, springs, etc.

Integy 19T Spec (stock brushes, springs, everything...NOT tuned...just broke in the brushes, recut the comm, reseated brushes...and called it a day! )

You have a Robi Dyno too?

Have you tried a Red Spring on the Neg side. I would think you could get the Torque and RPM #'s to come up. Also try not to shim any tighter than .007-.008, really makes the numbers go down if your any tighter.

I have not tuned the Integy motor yet.

After a couple dyno sessions and several track sessions, the ARCOR based Ti can 19T liked the purple springs.

Just have to watch the 4383 for brush wear on the + side. The 729 seems to last forever on the negative.

Do you have a Robi? Got any dyno pulls to post?

These #'s are from a Yokomo w/factory brushes & springs. Brushes were aligned & broken in at 3v, comm touched up.

I will probably have a 19T by the end of this week. If I get some Dyno time, I'll post some numbers.

Any recommendations on a Open class 19T for Club racing.

Pops....only really dyno & track time experience I have is with the Ti based 19t. Motor pulled hard with 24-28 degrees timing with Trinity 4383 + brush, 729 Reedy - brush, Trinity purple springs on both.....tons of torque. Don't be afraid to gear up!

While the numbers are nice to have, the motor is not legal to run, yes it is a 19T.... but they have to be run in the original can to be legal - the Kisbey can you are using might be a great can, but it allows for adjustable timing, the 19T spec motors must have timing locked at 24 degrees - same as a stock motor

Dalem, Popsracer - which motors are you looking for numbers from?? Reedy, Trinity, Orion, etc??

While they are all 19T motors, you will motice that they all have different numbers, some are designed for torque, some are designed for rpm....

I currently have a Trinity Chameleon, Chameleon 2, Yokomo & 3 Reedy's. I've been working on the 3 Reedy's w/brush & spring combos and was hoping to save some time by asking others what they had tried.

Right after my initial post my notebook crashed... with all my runs stored on it . I probably won't get a chance at running the motors again until Thurs-Friday.

Basicly I have had ZERO experience with 19T Motors, so I'm relying on YOUR experiences to help me choose.

I will be using a Losi XXX-S on small to medium parking lot tracks. Right the all of the 19T classes are open, so adjustable timing, etc is OK.

Pops- My experience has been nothing can touch the Trinity based chameleon2 based motors. The Reedy based cans have been much weaker (not including the quad magnets). The Reedys feel maybe marginally better than a good stock motor.

Pops... set it up as a stocker... something like a tri polarized brush setup worked well in the Reedys, as did the orion sprints. Gear the snot outta them - I actually run mine with higher gearing than with stocks!! (p2k2's mostly)


As for the new quad magnet motors.... they aren't available yet!!


I would also agree with the chameleon's being quite strong motors, but I have seen many Reedy 19's keep up!! The new element also seems to run fairly strong with orion red/red springs and sprint or enduro brushes
