Clutch setup: 13 Tooth Cen clutchbell with Cen blue aluminum shoes / 1.1 springs
Engine: RB-Mods Extreme Modded JP FX21B 5N Ceramic Bearings (Temps around 240 at plug after 30 minute Main)
Pipe: JP-2 with the stock header
Fuel: Byrons Race 3000 30%
Plug: RB or Novarossi #5 Normal
Body: Proline Mugen Crowd Pleazer 2.0 for the MBX5T
Wheels & Tires: Pro-line MTR Holeshots (stock inserts) with 17mm half offset OFNA Rims
Receiver: Spectrum DSM
Battery & Switch: HT Batteries HT220 Li-po 1500ma 7.4V with HT Batteries HT410 7V regulator
Radio: Airtonics M11 with HT Batteries HT310 Li-po 1200ma
Servo: Hitec HS-5955TG Digital steering / Futaba S9351 Digital High Torque Throttle & Brake
This setup has worked great for Justin on all the tracks we have raced on. The most important thing is to pay attention to detail. The smallest things will throw the handling way off. Make sure the truck rolls freely with the servo centered and radio on (No drag brake) and that the throttle is completely closed.

Great post, It gave me a few ideas to try.
Keep posting set ups, I am always open to try some new things that I may not think about.

We used the 17mm wheel hubs/Hexes (MX043) from the Matrix Buggy. We also used the rear axle from the buggy (MX093) for the rear of the truck, no shimming. You will also need some 8mm shims (KYO96046) Kyosho shims kit 8x10. Shim the inside of the axle between the axle and the back of the inner bearing. That way it will push the dogbones into the outdrive more and stop any problems with the dogbones coming out. If you use the buggy axles on the rear you will need some 3x4mm set screws. The TR axles take a 5x5 set screw. Don't forget the wheel nuts. I had some Jammin nuts but they didn't fit.

Is there a technical benefit for running 17mm hubs/hexes?

17mm hexes are lighter weight than the 23mm ones.
Plus its alot easier to find 17mm truggy wheels on hobby shop shelves, you can use brands other than Proline.
There are several 17mm hexes that will work.
Mugen, TTR and even Losi.
The CEN hexes are a little more expensive.

and that doesnt include nuts or pins
Losi has a 17mm hex set which includes 2 hexes 2 nuts and the pins you will need.

TTR standard

brakes
Does anyone else have problems with their brake levers binding when the servo pushes and pulls? It seams like the lever and the guide stick.
Any helpful tips?

Congrats! That looks like a very well groomed track. I have never seen a grass track before. We have a "No green" rule at our track. I thought our pit lane was pretty nice, but that is definatly just a bit nicer

How do I get Cen apparel? I must have missed it on the website? I would like to have a t-shirt to wear at big races.
