Good Luck PW,
It really doesn't matter what can you drive you still are an ambassador for the sport!! End of story!! From what I saw this summer on rubber the TC5 was very quick.

Cheers,
James

Glad to have ya man. Sorry I didn't have more time to help you get the details ironed out. Maybe we can work out a trip to Enid or something to get some practice in for te Nats.

Any ideas why my friends front left CVD always snapp off´s? Every single race the cvd will snapp. No crashes, just driving. There must be some other materials for this?any other that will fit and hold? He is in need of this, if there is no solution for this, he might change brand.

If there breaking without crashing then he may have too much steering lock, have they gluded a shim to the hub to reduce the possible lock?

There are new driveshafts on the way with steel axles and alloy shafts that will fix the problem. In the mean time you can use the all steel driveshafts from the Mi2 (as i have for the past 3 months)

To use them you just have to ream out the hole in the wheel a little, use a spacer betweeb the hex and the wheel or use a wider hex.

Keeping it 100% simple... it'll be one of two things

1.) His steering endpoints are to far out so his wheels "chatter" when turning left and right. This is fixed with the spacer on the steering blocks.

2.) Tell him to quit hitting things! I've been running the same stock CVD's, without even rebuilding them for 6 months now and have never run into a problem such as that.

Reilly, you couldn't be more right

Adrian...that was a pretty low blow man

Hi there!
It is me that have brooken the driveshaft. i have glued the shim on the steeringarm. and i have not chrashed the car, simple enough?
I need to find a solution for this, starts to cost me a fortune..not fun at all when so much money is spend on a chassis, even bought thar lightweight bulkheads for it, just to keep it on the track and not 6 feet under it...

Maybe it's worth trying TIR alloy driveshafts? They are aluminium, but I run them all the time, and haven't broken a single axle this year running 5 cell mod.

Hi!
i use spool and the original driveshafts on the MI3. But it seems no one has had the same experience...
