eZRUN brushless system

I use the Ezrun 60A system (Version 2, or V2 as it's commonly listed). They are WONDERFUL.
Word of caution though, if you get the integer motors (9t, 10t, 11t, 12t), they are actually 380-sized motors (still puts out a helluva torque).
If you get the "0.5" motors, 8.5, 9.5, 10.5, etc., those are the 540-sized motors (like what Castle, Tekin, and other companies uses for 1/10th scale systems).
If the motor can has DEEP fins, it's 380 sized, if it has no fins but a solid can, it's 540 sized...
I'm using a 4300Kv (9t) with Ezrun 60A V2 system. They are WOOOOOONDERFUL. Can't tell the difference between it and my Mamba...

So would this be a good system to run? for on-road?
Not sure if its the V2.

I'm gonna be testing the 9T 4300Kv with a 3S LiPo pack. Should be pushing close to 47K rpm if it doesn't desintegrate first. Will need to dial down the throttle D/R to maybe around 85% to cap it at 40K rpm.

Tom Chang 79:
Thankyou. Why do they offer the 2 motor can sizes? Is the difference appreciable for different classes, vehicle size, or?
Most tracks I will run on will be 1/8 size ( 130' minimum straights), but a few will be dedicated 1/10 tracks.
thanks....

The smaller motors have less torque and lower max RPM which helps to make driving easier. They're made for onroad not offroad and they're also more 1/12th scale friendly.

What he said!
BigMidget: It doesn't really state it on the listing. I just recently ordered a 17.5 that didn't list the version number of the ESC either.
Just contact the seller and ask them directly. This seller *seems* to be a similar person in Hong Kong that sold me the Hobbywing.
The price on that listing is $0.11 higher
Yeah, so contact them and ask them if it's a V1 or V2 of the Ezrun. If you want, you can try to find the seller "jns-inc" which is the ebayer that I bought mine off of, and he informed me that everything in his stock is the V2 in regards to Ezrun 60A.

If you live in the US check out Hobbypartz.com, they seem to have the lowest prices on the eZRuns and shipping is only $5. You should get it much faster than buying from Hong Kong. I have two eZRun setups, one bought on ebay and shipped from HK and the other from Hobbypartz. I got the shipment from Hobbypartz in two days while the one from HK took 2 weeks to arrive.

Fancy that a chinese company pirating another chinese companies work.
I am willing to bet the second one gets a visit.
In light of that I would probably be careful of his hobbywing stuff.

Quick question guys please.
I want to fit all my motors and Esc's with the same connectors that come fitted on the 9T Ezrun motors.
They are a bullet type connector but could someone please tell me what size i need to order.
If not could someone advise me as to what i measure.
Is the connector size calculated from the internal female connector diameter?
