I just updated the pictures and info on our new SCTE chassis coming out next week. I also made a quickie video of the chassis close up (Sorry, the video is not cool and flashy like Losi's new SCTE RTR video, lol).

Well, sorry Casper but what you have on your truck was pre-production. Teh stock hexes are powdered metal and are considerably heavier than the aluminum ones we will be coming out with.

Oops. The part is pretty small though. Still don't see a huge weight change but at the same time this is more of a function part then a weight part.

They are stamped in for sure. To mill that in, you would need start start off with a rather large chunk of metal and it would take forever to mill it, so, they are bent in.

I know you say it is 20% lighter but will you be posting up an actual weight?

Ya well...just blew $30 with Amain order arrived today and regular ole caps in bag.
There really needs to be a new part number, or something to designate these things.

On top of that I thought Losi may have gone another route considering how much hate the MMP has in this thread alone.

Either way, at ~$520 I think it looks like a fantastic deal considering what the ARR cost us.

Seems I'll be getting a second SCTE once this is released. My 8 y/o could use a better Tx for his Strike.

What hate? The MMP is perfectly fine in 1/10 applications.

Okay, I'll bite....so when can I buy just the motor?? I wants. I like the idea of it being a 2800kv.
