On the subject of gear diffs, has anyone broken the plastic internal gears or shafts? I put the metal ones in my TB04/EXO6 but the weight savings of the plastic parts is tempting.
I understand on an offroad car you'd want metal to withstand the shock loads, but are onroad cars as demanding?

I think if you run heavier oil (3k and up) the plastic will have no issues. Lighter oils may need need more attention.

In fact i wonder also to run 70t spur with 63t to 65t pinion, but i guess has some issue to fix.
Thanks!

Hey Guys, do you use the Reinforced Gear set (54593) or the standard one (51547)?

My Exo-6, haven't had the chance to put gear in this yet, but wanted to show it off.
She's never even been set on the ground. Beaut of a kit, I love the Exotek conversion.
Contemplating letting her go, as it seems it will just be on my shelf for awhile longer. . .
Also, have a stock TB Evo6 (also never run) that will be in the for sale section tonight.
