another tire to try is the stock Fusion tires that come with Academy cars. These are similar to a holeshot but alternate block and pin instead of just blocks. These work very well, great wear characteristics, and they don't load up like a holeshot does.

The panther switch are designed for the type or condition of track that you are describing. They are not that expensive either and have a good life span.

Give them a try, I have used them and dont have any complaints. The track here is usually dusty clay, hard packed underneath, and ocassionally watered.

With really light dust switches will work but any type of fluff and they will be loose.

I second the vote for Red Bigshots and the Academy Fusion tires on a hardpacked non-clay track with a loose/fluffy surface.

Sounds to me like bigshots.

I run on similar conditions to what you describe and they are the tire of choice.

Has anyone ran the inside job fronts?

play around with the losi blockheads, interesting tires, last quite a while too. Since when did the discontinue the pin tires? cause that really sucks. losi tire selection is really coming down to only a few choices in the 10th buggy world

We use Panther soft pumas for the buggy and komotos on the truck. For hard pack, we use switches 2.0 soft in the back. Try softer foams in the back and harder in the front for the truck.

I run the Inside Jobs on the front of my Lazer...I wish I had used some better inserts in them, but they work pretty well at the track I race on (Pegasus).

If you stay in the more packed part and out of the dusty stuff, they're great. If you go wide, good luck....you're going straight.

@ Turbo, are you talking about the inside jobs, or the losi pins?

The link I posted earlier was for ifmar studs, not pins, my bad.
