Competition electronics TurboDyno
I've got a 30Amps version of this dyno, and i want to upgrade it to a 45Amps.
Somebody can help me? I think i've just have to copy the EEPROM of a 45Amps version, but this stuff is very rare in France...
So, if somebody can download the firmware and send it to me by email...
Thanks for your help,
Vincent

6xIRF540 (28Amps each!)+big heatsink+fan...
I think hardware can drive much more than 45Amps!
I'm quite sure that only a firmware update is necessary...

it is my understanding that CE does upgrade the TD30 to a TD45, but its around 300 dollars.
A bit high, but then again its a totally refurbished unit :

Hmmm...
I've buy it about $100...
So, i won't pay $300 to upgrade it!!!

TD45's are going for between 450 and 650 dollars here and on eBay. I think that it would be made a good investment if you decided to upgrade

Too bad that CE does not make these still, guess was not enough market to continue making them.
From what I have read the CE dyno is a way better source of info on motors then the flywheel dynos on market.
