I started doing the "Full Throttle" break-in when Neal offered the prop and adapter to do it. I've broken in all of my engines this way ever since and all have run flawlessly. Just do a little warm-up and open her up full throttle and control the heat with the high speed needle. I try to stay around 220* (Richen it up a little if if the temp starts to climb or lean it out to get the heat up).

How long do you run the engines when doing that method?

Just under the 40.000 rpm, sounds like a pylon racer:

Well, it is not my way of a break-in but I can imagine because of pylon racers it should be no deal. I would expect a fuel with lots of oil is used, pylon racers just use a mix of 20% oil and 80% methanol.

Hello to all, I have a doubt which is the exhaust and Novarossi manifold the best for Fuel-Economy? or specific to Fuel Economy?

Thank you

I don't think they expect much life out of those engines!
The guys running tether cars is also pretty hardcore, just in another league then common RC folks. Picco was very involved in that type of cars.

I think thoose engine are great With a long lifspan. I friend of mine were Nova factory driver for a year. his engines were so freaking awsome, ran ALOT better than anything i have ever had, inbcluding some very well reputable modyfiers/tuners out there...

My prerun rolling is a monster. The card said 34500rpm for 20 minutes. I originally thought thats what they were hitting at the end of the 20 min but i guess its through the entire 20 min.
