Never mind, I was thinking of a different neo car, not the one you guys are talking about.

I've got a 3PDF and love it. It doesn't have as many features as the 3PJ, but it has all the features I really want. (D/R, Expos, ATL, etc...) It's very easy to use. I haven't really used a XR2/XR3 much, but I think they're an alright radio. Cheaper than the 3PDF, but I don't know if they have as many features. I think a better comparison, would be the 3PDF and XR3. First and foremost, what's most comfortable is the right radio. But, out of those two, if both feel good, get the cheaper one.

Between the 3PDF and XR2, unless the 3PDF is VERY uncomfortable, I would highly reccomend the 3PDF because it's FM. Trust me, you want to avoid glitching problems, no matter what it takes.

Ummm I've got an XR2 it's a nice radio but the pdf is better. But why spend $200 US on a pdf which dosn't have every feature on earth when you could spend $30 more and get a Ko propo EX1 ?? which has so many features that it's just down right overkill. How is Ko product support where you live?

badboy, no the process wont damage the cells...all you have to do is open up the plastic, unsolder the cells and follow this: http://www.balakracing.com/stick.htm

Ok I guess you mean that he has an electric motor. So I speculate from that. If so then he will need ; a charger(preferably peak detection), batt's 6 cell, esc, reciever, servo, matching crystals, preferable a different frequency from your mate (for your tx and rx), tx batt's(8xaa batts). Have fun and welcome to the hobby

Just walk up and say G'day if they tell you to get lost then you know. I very much doubt that they would be rude, they are supposed to be getting people into the hobby not out. Don't be scared of them there human to.
