Did we ever figure out what extended body mounts work? Monster truck bodies take a beating and my Corvette isn't going to last much longer.
I installed the aluminum steering arm and got a bash session in. I still need to work on my jumping skills. The 3s system got pretty hot so I'm going to try a 4s system that I already have, Woohoo.

Hi

Customer Service at Proline said the Pro-Line Slash 4X4 Body Mount Replacement Kit Stock# 6087-01 will fit, unfortunately you have to buy two sets in order to extend all four body mounts.

Hey guys,
Just got my MT and looking to find out a common fluid setup. Running 4s + 1/8 ESC/Motor.
Getting some of the alum parts for durability. Is there a compilation of recommended upgrades for the truck outside of the Servo Saver (obvious replacement) and the steel spur?

Thanks!
Rick

hey guys, i love my mt4x4 but i feel like i don't have the right combo for it... with that said, i have the hobbywing EZRUN MAX 10SCT with the 3660sl 4000Kv. it runs 50 MPH on flat ground, and rips on the jumps off road, with a 3s (15 t pinion) but she runs really hot, enough to go into thermo only after a short time. basicly i want a combo that i can run fast on 3s (monster truck club rules) and not heat up quickly. thanks!
should i just put my current setup in my Tekno 410?

I suggest a 1/8 scale esc if you prefer hobbywing a max8 and a 1512 2600 or 2650 kv motor and gear up a bit 18tooth pinion.

I ran my ProMT 4x4 on 4s today and the rear bearing that holds the center drive shaft in the rear diff came loose. This happened once before and I put the bearing back in with no damage to the gears.
The rear shocks don't seem to be able to handle the extra weight of the 4s battery and system. I'll have to up the weight on the shock oil.

nice! You can try a 4s pack that is the same dimension as a 2s lipo from SMC and/or Protek.

Hey, RCWERKZ is in the house. Good to hear from you! Thanks for the tip. Is it 3000mah or something like that?

Hi

Does anyone know of any other springs that will fit on this truck?

Proline has a spring set for the front or the rear. https://www.prolineracing.com/perfor...ment-front.asp

Hi

I don't think those Powerstroke springs will work, the Pro 4x4 uses 16mm big bores.

Default Pl mt 4x4 steering

Got about 12 good bashes in with this truck and everything has been good except for the turning radios. I have adjusted the servo numerous times, made sure nothing was binding, tightend up the saver nut and still can't get full left and right steering. I have even tried 2 different servos. Going crazy never happened to me before with a truck. But wow can this truck take a beating!!! 6s all day with it

Oh wow, I never had Powerstrokes before so I thought that's what the ProMT had. Tekno SCT and MT410 have 16mm shocks.

If the pillowball screws are too tight it can bind up at full tilt. That may not be your issue but it's worth looking at.
